Following the wildly successful events last summer, the Long Table Dinner Series returns with two more multi-course family-style meals featuring the exquisite organic produce grown steps away at the UBC Farm.
Enjoy warm weather, live music and twinkling lights at long tables between rows of trees in the Poplar Grove, while our team treats you to a full-service menu celebrating the seasonal bounty of British Columbia food producers.
Tickets include dinner and one beverage. Menu will be unveiled two weeks before the event to maximize in-season ingredients.
Proceeds support research and programming at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at the UBC Farm.
What to Expect — LAST YEAR’S EVENT:
Guests at the first annual Long Table Dinner series at UBC Farm were treated to sold-out summer menus created by UBC Executive Chef David Speight and the team at Scholar’s Catering.
Menu highlights included Haida Gwaii Halibut Ceviche, Smashed Blackberry & Goat Cheese Toast, Okanagan Stone Fruit Panzanella, Char Siu Pork Belly, Seared Pacific Sablefish and Chocolate Cherry Pavlova, featuring produce from UBC Farm and ingredients sourced locally through Vancouver Farmers Markets.
Event is Weather-Dependant
In a true long table dinner style, we will not be covering the event with a tent. If rain is forecasted on the farm, we will cancel at least three days in advance and offer a full refund or offer to re-issue the tickets for the next long table dinner date.
Refund and Transfer Policy
Tickets cannot be refunded but can be transferred. Please email UBC Farm to transfer your tickets to another name.
Vegetarian options will be included with all courses.
