Join Tania Johnson, R.Psych and one of our Co-founders, for this full day workshop on «Childhood Anger: Working through Tempers.» A child’s anger can be emotionally and physically draining for everyone involved. This workshop will empower parents and caregivers to proactively and lovingly help children during these challenging moments. By the end of the day, you will leave with an understanding of the neurobiological, environmental and developmental roots of anger. In addition, you will walk out with a new perspective, new tools and new strategies to connect with a child who is struggling with emotional regulation. Help the child in your life to master new ways to overcome challenges!

OBJECTIVES

— Introduction to the neurobiological, environmental and developmental roots of aggression and anger

— Discussion and review of the research on Traditional Discipline

— Examination of the six steps involved in helping children to regulate from a Relationship Based Perspective
