ITS BACK! Dust off your skis, boots and boards because the UBC Ski and Board Club will be hosting its 11th Annual Rail Jam on Thursday November 8th. Worried that this season is going to be an El Niño? Well that doesn’t matter when you’re a park rat. Are you sad because Cat Skinner is no more and you can no longer pretend to be a park shredder while watching from the lift? Well this is your chance to learn and practice, and of course eat $^!T
Location: The hill between Scarfe and Sauder on University Boulevard (just above where MerBante’s is).
Time: Shredding will begin at around 10-11 am. We will be having a jam format in the afternoon (starting at around 2) for you chance to compete and win prizes.
Entry fee is $5 for all participants! All money will be donated to VASS (Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports).
You MUST sign a waiver! Check yo’self before you wreck yo’self- MUST WEAR A HELMET.
Even if you don’t plan on riding, come out and get your stoke on. We will have free Rockstar, music and our friends at the Calendar will be firing up the BBQ.
RAIN OR SHINE!
