Every year Young Ideas hosts a retreat to review past 2018 events, and brainstorm future event ideas. If you are looking for a group to make your idea happen, this is it! Last year we hosted over 100 events, including: weekly pay-what-you-can yoga classes, gardening workshops, Pride party, art and wine nights, mayoral candidate debate, cooking classes, Crafternoon workshops, monthly games nights, and so much more.
Young Ideas is a volunteer social group that hosts events for people in their 20s and 30s who live, work, and hang in Vancouver's West End. We plan initiatives as a way to meet people in our ‘hood. Join us, we're always looking for more members, and no experience is required.
This year our retreat will be hosted in the Lauren apartment building located at 1051 Broughton Street on Tuesday, February 12th from 6:00-9:00pm. If you cannot attend exactly at 6:00pm, feel free to join when you are available. The entrance is located on the main floor, and is wheelchair accessible. On the day of the event we will have Young Ideas signage on entrance doors. Dinner will be provided at 6:00pm, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or accessibility needs that we can accommodate. Email [email protected]
or call (604) 683-2554 for more information.
